Family sharing

Family Sharing is a feature offered by both Apple (iOS) and Google (Android) that allows you to share certain content purchased from the App Store or Google Play with your family members. However, not all purchases are shareable.

Family Sharing on iOS (Apple):

  • Allows up to six family members to share purchases of paid apps, subscriptions, and iCloud storage.
  • Only purchases made from the App Store can be shared if the developer allows it.
  • In-app purchases (such as coins, VIP, and consumable items) are not shareable. See more here.

Family Library on Android (Google Play):

  • Allows up to five family members to share paid apps, movies, books, and subscriptions.
  • The admin can choose which purchases are available for family members.
  • In-app purchases (such as coins, VIP, and other consumable items) cannot be shared.
  • Subscriptions on Google Play can only be shared if the developer allows it. See more here.

Can I share my VIP subscription for Everyday Puzzles with someone else?

No. Since VIP is an in-app purchase, it cannot be transferred or shared through Family Sharing, on either iOS or Android. Only the account owner who purchased the VIP will have access to the benefits, such as playing without ads, doubled coins, and XP.

Is this different from paid games?

Yes. In paid games, if the developer allows, the entire game can be shared among family members. However, in free games like Everyday Puzzles, in-app purchases (like VIP and coins) cannot be shared through Family Sharing.
